Martin Luther King Jr. and Susan B. Anthony’s Effects on...

How well known people are effects how influential you are, and while these 2 characters from history are not as influential as LeBron James and trending pop starts are in their time, they’ve used their influential abilities in positive ways that affects everyone today. Susan B. Anthony and Martin Luther King Jr. are both amazing leaders of the suffrage and civil rights movements. Anthony with Women’s rights, and King with African American’s rights took Civil Rights as a whole a few great leaps forward; brought forth an era where the Civil Rights Movement is something almost everyone believes in, that equal rights should be something everyone has. This shows that Anthony directly worked so hard and well with women, that she inspired and called for others to come to the aid of the black people of America, of the Asian people of Americ a, and of any race that feels like it is enslaved within America. Both of these 2 showed directly changed the laws, and the constitution, but through this, they indirectly affected everyone. 0 Without them, the confidence of the colored, of women, and of colored women would have been diminished swiftly by now A person’s self-worth defines them. Actually, it does more than define them; it defines what they can do. â€Å"Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. This quote said by MLK Jr. showed how change is created through struggle. Would King and Anthony been able to create change with no self-confidence? Furthermore, would they have been able to get their education without self-worth? Think about it.
